How much does a home valuation cost?
There’s no charge for a standard valuation. If you’re thinking of selling, we’re happy to come round, offer honest advice and help you understand how to maximise your home’s value.
We only apply fees for formal valuations required for legal reasons, such as Probate or Matrimonial purposes. For these, you’ll be in safe hands with our in-house Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer, who is fully qualified to carry out RICS-compliant reports.

Does a home report include a valuation?
If you’re buying a home and want peace of mind, we can provide a comprehensive RICS Home Survey which includes an accurate market valuation to be sure you’re paying the right price. Here’s a quick guide to property surveys – click here.

Is there anything else I should consider?
The market is always changing, so the most important thing is to make sure you have an accurate home valuation which reflects the current market in 2025. There is still plenty of activity in the market for accurately priced homes.

Can a home valuation increase my property’s value?
A valuation itself won’t change your property’s value, but it can highlight areas where small improvements could make a big difference. We’ll always offer honest, practical advice on how to present your home in the best light and boost its market appeal.

How long does a home valuation take?
Most home valuations take around 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the size and condition of your property. It’s a relaxed, no-pressure visit where we take a good look around and chat with you about your goals.
